The banner depicts Jesus as the Righteous Branch, ruling and reigning with majestic power over all the earth. The sky is light blue, to show a time of the fulll shining of the sun, the time of the full revelation of the Lord. Isaiah 53 describes Jesus the servant as "a root out of dry ground" (Verse 2). This is shown by the sandy color at the bottom left of the banner. The Branch, formed by the letters J-E-S-U-S has grown and bears fruit (Isaiah 11:1) He has become the King, shown by the crown that tops the letter J. The twelve white blossoms on the tree represent the Church, the Bride of Christ. He will blossom like a lily..." Hosea 14:5 Twelve is the number of the Church. The blossoms are white because the Brie was given fine linen to wear signifying her righteousness bought by the blood of the Lam (Revelation 19:8). The blossoms are edged with silver, the color of redemption, and in the center of each one is a golden stamen. Gold represents the character of Christ. It is the work of God to conform our character to that of Christ that He would be the firstborn of many. Romans 8:28-30.

There is a seven pointed crown at the top of the letter J. The center of the crown is in the shape of a dove. The wings of the dove form the sides of the crown. The six wings plus the tail of the dove form the sides of the crown. The six wings plus the tail of the dove represent the sevenfold Spirit of God The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him Isaiah 11:2; Revelation 4:5

The scepter in the stem of the letter J signifies the final, righteous authority of Jesus. ...but with righteousness He will judges the poor, and decide with fairness for the afflicted of the earth. Isaiah 11:4. The messianic prophecies in Genesis 49:10 and Isaiah 11 look forward to Jesus the great ruler Who will weild the scepter of judgement with terrible authority. Even the Gentile nations will respond and turn to Him. The epaulets and tassels are also sumbols of His authority and majesty. The tassels carry the sweet fragrance of dedar. ...His beauty will be like the olive tree and His fragrance like the cedars of Lebanon. Hosea 14:6

Streams of water flow from the scepter. The them of water is repeated in the streamers along the sides. For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Isaiah 11:9Jesus spoke of rivers of living water that would flow from within those who believe in Him. (Mohn 7:38)

The back of the banner proclaims the righteousness and faithfulness of Jesus. The background is purple declaring His royalty. The irridescent red and black letters on the white drae seak of victory over sin and the righteousness bought for all by His blood. The blue letters on the belt of faithfullness speak of heavenly origin and drace. Just as gold is prominently woven through the background fabric of the belt, so faithfulness is an integral part of God's nature. Also righteousness will be the belt about His loins, and faithfulness the belt about His waist. Isaiah 11:5 Our kIng chooses to clothe Himself in righteousness and faithfulness.

The Jewish people are often referred to in the scriptures as Ephraim. Because Gentile believers are grafted into the vine through Jesus (Romans 11:17), the Church is associated with His tribe, the trive of Judah. Isaiah 11:10-13 speaks of the day when the root of Jesse will be lifted up as a standard, or banner, for the people. We read that in that day, the Lord will recover again the remnant of His people, and He will assemble the outcasts of Israel. Reconciliation will come between Ephraim and Judah. For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one, and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall...that in Himself He might make the two [Jew and Gentile] into one new man, thus establishing epace.... Ephesians 2:14-15. As this banner is raised, may these prophetic messages be proclamed and may their time of fulfillment come quickly.
