For those new to message boards, there is a step-by-step SITE TUTORIAL in the HELP! & Tech Tools forum that will help you get around. You'll find instructions there too on how to use the calendar, post pictures and install an avatar (that little picture under your name). Once you've made a couple of posts, you will be able to personalize your profile. You can do that in :
My Controls under Menu > Personal Profile>
Edit Profile info, Edit Avatar, Edit Signature.
If that prospect seems overwhelming to you right now, that's OK...you can do it later. But this New Member Introductions forum is very easy to post in ....we'd love it if you started a post and said a few words about yourself there so that we can welcome you. to get a posting screen.

AVATARS: Since this is a message board connected with our ZionFire ministry, we wanted our faces to be associated with our names, so we installed our portraits as our avatars. If you want to do the same, that is great....we love seeing your gorgeous faces. However, you can also put any kind of pic there you want, ministry logo, some favorite pic or symbol, etc.....portraits are appreciated, but not required. (Note: unregistered users cannot see your avatar picture.) Install your avatar in "My Controls". If you need help figuring out how to use your control panel, go here.
NAME CHANGES: If you registered with a name you'd like to change for whatever reason (too long, want to use ministry name/personal name instead, etc.) let us know, and we will make the change for you. The new name will then become your log-in name from that point on.
Did you know you can set up notifications to be e-mailed when there are responses to topics you are interested in? Or when you get a new Private Message? Check out the post on Subscriptions in the "Navigating this Message Board" post in the Help! & Tech Tools forum. Basic instructions, and links to all the ZFF helps topics are also in the "Helps" menu found in the top navigation bar.
If you read the TUTORIAL and still have navigation questions, start a new topic there and ASK.....we'll be glad to walk you through anything you don't understand. And we will keep at it until you get it.
Don't feel you have to always have something pithy or on-topic to say to make a post. Banter, jokes, bunny-trails, personal queries, friendly silliness....all are appropriate forms of message board communication, part of how we get to know each other beyond just the ministry stuff.

oh yes...if you are confused about how to get around, EVERYTHING can be accessed from the forum index page. You can always get back there one of three ways:
