Hello all,
My name is Gabriel and I am new to the site! I am a 30 year old male who ministers in my church choir, as well as in mime, liturgical, and hip hop dance. I've been dancing since I was about 12, but did not begin dancing in church until I was 19.
My pastor called for an urban dance team and I joined. 3 years later, I became team captain.
I began to branch out and explore other areas of dance and have grown to love mime and creating theatrical urban dance pieces as well.
I hope to meet great people here and grow as a dance minister.

Welcome, Gabriel!
We're glad to have you here. Glad to hear your excitement for the things of the Lord and for opportunities to minister. There are lots of folks who read here, some who write. Lots of experienced folks.
Ask lots of questions, think out loud. Some folks are afraid of asking "stupid questions" or "questions that have been asked before". Don't be. Only stupid questions are those that go unasked. Questions that are REasked often get fresh responses.
Be sure to let us know where in the world you are, too!

Welcome Gabriel,
My interpretive dance style incorporates a lot of mime as well. I find it is immeasurably helpful in developing choreography that communicates clearly. You'll find quite a few topics on dance in the <URL url="http://zionfirefriends.com/index.php?showforum=4">Miriam forum and scattered thorughout the board.
I hope you find things to both support and challenge you here. We're happy to converse on any subject that interests you. The forum is not very active, but we have many dancers who peek in regularly so some fruitful discussions may result.
