Seven Spirits

These seven 9-foot high banners represent the lamps of the candlestick, or menorah, in the heavenly tabernacle. Flames rise from the seven firepots, and within the flames are contained the names of the Spirits as enumerated in Isaiah 11:10
And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots. And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD...
The ministry of these banners is to usher the worshiper into the Throne room of God and invoke meditation on the mystery of the Baptism of Fire.
The central banner, Spirit of the Lord is in the servant candle position on the menorah. The text for Spirit of the Lord, is fashioned in an emblem of the descending Dove surrounded by the flames.
The side drapings move fluidly and suggest the smoke that rises from the burning lamps. The sound of the bells remind us of the holiness of God.
EPAULETS: Each banner carries epaulets of a stylized yud, a letter often used to represent "Yah" -- the Name of God.
