"The Lord Will See To It" (literal Hebrew translation). This covenant Name was given as Abraham prepareded to sacrifice his only son, Isaac, as commanded by God. The Lord provided the ram in the thicket instead, as a type of the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus.
In this account, we have God's covenant promise that all which is necessary will be provided by Him. A reminder of this story is suggested in the corner design by using the shape of a ram's head.
This banner is green to represent life and hope. Bright green represents new, fresh life; dark green represents mature, rich life. Jesus said, "I am come that they might have life and have it more abundantly" (John 10:10). Jesus IS life, and if we have Jesus, then we have LIFE; there is no need to look further for a source of provision. Jesus said, "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear... For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. But seek His kingdom, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Luke 22:30,31). "My God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).
